Technical support is critical for you to both backup your data and recover your data.  When first backing up your data, there may be problems with your firewall, computer settings, or some other item that will make it difficult to connect with our server.  Your technical partner will be there to assist you by either email or over the phone.  For major downloads, your technical partner will also be able to assist you on-site.


The critical aspect of technical support is when you need to recover lost data.  How do you evaluate the technical support that you will receive from an on-line data backup supplier?  Usually not until you have signed up and need the data! Then you might find out that there is no support, only email support, or phone support that you cannot reach.  One pharmacy that was confidently backing up their data discovered that their data was stored in Russia and there was absolutely no technical support to help retrieve lost data.
